❧ Respect eachother. This should be simple and self-explanatory. If you can't think of anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. Try to avoid OOC drama, and if you have a problem with someone, resolve it via PMs. If you can't resolve it by talking to them, then PM the site administrator.
❧ Avoid godmoding and powerplaying. All characters have weaknesses. You may not control any characters other than your own (with the exception of NPCs that you would like to involve in your threads).
❧ Take responsibility for your creations. Characters can die and be injured. If you are involving your character in a dangerous situation, then prepare for the worst. (It is unlikely, but it could happen, and you're expected to be mature no matter what happens).
❧ Stick to the setting. Don't go talking about fridges or current technology. We're medieval fantasy, so let's keep it that way!
❧ No OOC planning. There's not much point in roleplaying out something that you've already planned to the most minute detail in advance. The only person who can plan anything is the STORY TELLER and STAFF.
❧ Gain knowledge in character. Your character does not know what you know; they have to learn it for themselves.
ADDITIONAL RULES
❧ Three strike policy. Everytime you break a rule, a strike will be put against you. After you have received three strikes, you will no longer be allowed to roleplay on CoD.
❧ Don't argue with the STORY TELLER. Apart from special circumstances, like character death, what the Story Teller says is law.
❧ Immortality. All characters must be killable, even if not by natural means. Characters may not be invincible.
❧ Activity . You are considered inactive if you have not posted for thirty days in-character. After thirty days of inactivity your account will be deleted.
❧ Absent mode . If you know you are going to be unable to post in-character for five days or more, you should place an away notice in Absent Log. This protects your character from in-game events, activity checks and helps others work around your absence. Absent Mode auto-lasts for thirty days from start or post date.
